tylerwhyteParticipantWord press says…
If you’re not receiving notification emails:First check to make sure you are the author of the post
Check the Discussion Settings page to make sure email notifications are activated
Check the Notifications page to be sure you haven’t blocked all emails from WordPress.com
Check the spam folder in your email program to make sure the messages were not sent there by mistakeI can’t find the notification page. As far as I can tell this should be working. But not emails are being sent as notifications.

RahulModeratorHey There,
You will have to use your wordpress.com credentials. Make sure you have an account with wordpress.com.
Let us know if it still doesn’t work.
Thanks

tylerwhyteParticipantI created an account, It made me create a new site. Not what I want. The notification link you sent me to is in regards to this newly site. I tried adding keenridge.ca but does not make sense and tries to build a new site again. Can you explain this process to me? Maybe there something I’m missing. Do I need to use wordpress.com in conjunction with this template for it to work? The contact form works and everything else works fine. Just not sending post notifications.
I’ve added a third party plug in “pending submission notifications” which should work right from install. Typed in my email and still does not work.
so Confused.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Could you please try using a plugin like this (https://wordpress.org/plugins/notify-users-e-mail/). Also you might want to configure a SMTP plugin as mentioned in their description to correctly send your email notifications.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!June 23, 2016 at 12:13 pm #1056644
tylerwhyteParticipanti’ve added Pending Submission Notification. It seems simple and only has one field. Still not email notification. I’ve been working on this for quite a while. Maybe you could take a quick look. Must me missing something simple somewhere. Thanks,

June 24, 2016 at 7:58 pm #1058796
RadModeratorCould be the wrong email, something is blocking the email. Though, we’re not sure about the details either.
