I am using ETHOS and uploaded demo content. The structure is fine but there are no images!

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in and my apologies for the confusion. All our standard demos don’t come with the images. Instead, all images are replaced with placeholders so you can insert your own.

An additional note for the Ethos Stack, there are a few additional things that you need to do in the customizer to get posts to appear in the carousel and post slider.

You have to check your Settings > Readings > set a homepage of your choice.

I am using the demo content, what homepage is used for that? It is set for latest posts but none are showing up?

Is there a video or something showing how to set ETHOS up?

Most Themes I use create the demo exactly like the demo illustrated with images as well? Like Enfold for example or Evada!

Hey Brian,

Unfortunately we do not have videos about how to setup demo content but usually homepage should be named “home” or “homepage”. All you have to do is to set that page as default homepage by going to Settings > Readings.
