whytwolfParticipantI installed the Ethos 1 demo content and expected from what I’d read that I would see image placeholders, but I don’t. Any idea what went wrong?
Thanks,

whytwolfParticipantAlso, I would have expected some boilerplate text in the demo posts, but there isn’t any. Take a look at the attached screen shot.
Thanks again,

whytwolfParticipantThat screen shot was too big. Here’s a smaller one. 🙂

whytwolfParticipantI gave up on the standard Ethos demo content and installed the “Agency” expanded content. That one has images that I can replace.
HOWEVER
New problem: Cornerstone won’t edit the “Case Studies” page. I get two error messages. The first one disappears faster than I can read and remember it, and only shows up every now and again. The other one is: “Uh oh. Suitable content area for the live preview couldn’t be identified. Switching to Skeleton mode.”
Cornerstone is working on all the other pages I tried.
Any help would be appreciated.
I installed the 4.6 update earlier today, and updated Cornerstone to 1.3.0 as well.

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! The Case Studies page of Agency demo is the portfolio index page, this page use a special template that automatically populate with your portfolio items. This should not be edited on Cornerstone or any page builder, if you need to edit the layout of this page you need a custom template where require a custom development.
Same thing with the Ethos Demo 1 index page. That page is the Blog index page also requires a custom development to edit, if you’re still interested on Ethos Demo 1 please follow this post.
Regarding the second issue, please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If the issue remain, provide us login credentials in private reply so we can take a closer look.
Cheers!

whytwolfParticipantThank you again Friech! I’m still figuring out where I need to edit which elements in WP and X/Cornerstone. This helps a lot. All that you explained is now clearer and you can close this thread. 🙂
