I just purchase an X license and I can see my purchase code in my Envato account. However I cannot get the theme to activate – I’m getting a message saying “Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details” I clicked on the Details link but I noting is showing.

Thanks for writing in! One probable cause for this issue is, when your Cornerstone version is v1.2.3 or below. Please try deleting your Cornerstone plugin by connecting to your FTP (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/). Then head over to X Addons section and the latest version of Cornerstone will install automatically. Then you should be able to validate your site.

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– Your license key (purchase code)
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

I’ve taken a look, and something is preventing your site from completing the request to our validation API. You could check with your host to see if a firewall is blocking
community.theme.co. It would take a bit longer, but I can test a bit more conclusively with FTP access, as I could create a file with the single purpose of testing the API. I tried using the credentials you posted but they aren’t working.May 25, 2016 at 12:25 pm #1009465
zynergiallcParticipantI just tested the ftp and it works just fine. On my FTP client (filezilla) I only type robertoacuna.com for the ftp address. I will contact the host about that file. If this does not work. I will need t ask for a refund

zynergiallcParticipantOk my hosting provider said that I need to add you ip address to my outgoing connection to be able to unblock the community.theme.co.
Can you tell me which of these is yours? (see attached image)
