Hey, figured this out: If anyone else has this problem, hear ye, hear ye:

if you download the entire content package, then when you’re uploading/importing to wordpress, you need to only upload the zip file called “x”. If you upload the main file, it cannot unzip the actual theme contents.

Hey Guys,

I get this error Error code when I try to upload the X Theme zip file, via WordPress dashboard:

Installing Theme from uploaded file: themeforest-5871901-x-the-theme.zip

Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

I’m with Dreamhost and have already installed WP on my domain.

Please help!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! You may be installing the whole download package. Please extract the files within the zip downloaded from ThemeForest. Once extracted there should be another zip file called “x”. Use that file to install the theme, that is the actual theme file to be installed.
