    Hello!

I validated my X theme during my development process, then moved the site to the live domain. I updated my x license to link to the new url, but x theme won’t let me enter the new validation code. It doesn’t give me the option to validate. It tells me to validate the theme when I am trying to update x theme on the site, but when I click the “validate x theme” link, it brings me to the add on page, which seems to show that X is validated, but no place to enter the API like there used to be before recent updates. Can you please advise on how I can validate?

Also, revolution slider will not update either. Will this be corrected once X is validated?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/

    Hope it helps.

This worked, thank you!! One more question though. Now, the shortcut tool bar that normally appears at the top of each page when you are logged in isn’t appearing on any of the pages. Do you know what caused this and how to get it back?

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating the thread! Please go into your user’s profile and make sure the next to Toolbar the option to “Show Toolbar when viewing site” is checked. If it is and the admin bar is not showing, something is conflicting. Perhaps a plugin has disabled it or it was disabled via code or hidden via CSS.

Let us know how that goes. Hope this helps – thanks!

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating. It seems one of your plugin removing the admin bar. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
