    Hello,

Really love this theme a lot, but I’ve been having issues since the last few updates. In particular, when it comes to the portfolio.

I set up my portfolio page a couple of years ago, and it worked fine all this time. However, I recently checked back and it doesn’t show the items.

I’m using the most updated version of X-theme (4.6.4) using Ethos Stack, WordPress Version 4.6.1, and Cornerstone 1.3.3

    This is the page:
    http://gianverano.com/portfolio-of-a-toronto-copywriter

    Right now it’s blank:

And this is what it’s supposed to look like (archived version):

Right now, nothing is displaying. And I don’t think the ‘Filter By Category’ menu is working either. It was working great for the last couple of years, but I think the last update broke it.

It’ll show up in the page editor, but not when published. (I’ve cleared my cache, but also tried different browsers on different computers).

Any help you can give me would be really, really appreciated. Thanks!!

    Hi,

The wordpress admin login provided doesn’t seem to work.

Kindly check again and let us know.

    —-

Visual Composer plugin comes bundled with xtheme and we provide the update.
    You shouldn’t have bought it.

If you have validated your theme, the theme will notify you if an update is available.

If it is not showing up, try to click the button Check again in Dashboard > Updates.

Please also take note of the version that is supported by xtheme.

    Hello There,

Thanks for providing the login information. I did some further investigation. I noticed that you are using PHP version 5.4.45 and WordPress 4.5 requires at least 5.6 (https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/). This could possibly be the cause of the issue. In most cases you cannot update your PHP version yourself and need to contact your host about this. The upgrade process is an easy process and should be something your host can do for you without affecting your website or charging you for it. Here’s a letter you can send to your hosting company:

    Dear host,

I\'m interested in running the open-source WordPress <https://wordpress.org/> web software and
I was wondering if my account supported the following:

    - PHP 5.6 or greater
    - MySQL 5.6 or greater
    - The mod_rewrite Apache module

    Looking forward to your reply.

And if you are using CloudFlare or may have installed a caching plugin like WordFence, W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache, please keep in mind that after doing every updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.
