    Hello!

What I want to create is a very specific Navigation Bar. I know exactly what I want but I can’t get behind it. I’ve had now multiple fails and deleted my whole setup like 3 times.

    I thought… Now it’s time for pro’s to help me! 🙂

First of all the Link to my current Page:
    _

    1)

    Go to: http://www.supervolant.com

    2)

You will land on a Nav-Page-Tab called OPN, wich is standing for One-Page-Navigation.
If you go to the homepage http://www.supervolant.com you should at first get general Informations about SV.

    3)

So you scroll trough the OPN and see that it’s actually scrolling trough WELCOME, MISSION & SERVICE.

    4)

BLOG is a separate Nav-Tab. That is on purpose.

    _

I simply want to achieve that the OPN-TAB is away/deleted but everything else stays the same (functions & design) + I the ability to keep editing the OPN page. Because thats what I have done all the time. OPN, WELCOME MISSION & SERVICE is one page. Thats why I am so confused right now.

I am pretty sure this is easily fixable but at the moment just out of reach for me. I tried everything, now its your turn.

I thank you really much and look forward to go out of the setup phase of the website to become way more self productive and active and didn’t need to bother you guys that much with my newbie questions…

    Hi there,

Please create another menu and set it as primary.
If you want to target one page sections from primary menu, please use absolute URL, e.g :
    http://www.supervolant.com/#Mission

    Hope that helps.

    Hello, unfortunately not…

I created another menu, put in the OPN Tab and the BLOG Tab and put it as primary menu.

Also I changed the URL’s to fully out written in the OLD Menu.

What happened is this. Nothing changed beside that OPN and the BLOG disappeared and it looks like the HOME, MISSION, and SERVICE are being hovered all at the same, the whole time. If I click on one of those three I can’t see my BLOG-Tab anymore.

    Any advice?

    _

What I really want to achieve is: Having in the Navbar WELCOME, MISSION, SERVICE, BLOG, FORUM, ACTIVITY & SEARCH.

You can click on any one the first 3 and Land on a OPN-Page. Startpage is Welcome sou you would land on that scrolling trough the 3 different Tabs and after that you can decide if you head for the BLOG, FORUM…

    _

I give you screenshots of my current menu table.

    Thanks

    Robert

    Hello,

I think you got me wrong. But that’s my fault not yours. I am not a native english speaker.
Give me another try and I make things as clear & uncpomplex as possible.

I know how to setup a One Page Navigation. I have already one created.

Also I know how to attach new tabs to my NavigatioN Bar.

What I want to achieve is this Navigation Bar:
    (Left to right)

One Page Navigation with (now one more) 4 different Tabs called: Welcome, Mission, Service, Community
Those 4 Navigation labels should be my One-Page-Navigation system.

    BUT, AND THATS THE THING!:

I want to make additional Tabs to my One-Page-Navigation. For example a Blog page.

This is no problem at all… But if I mix things up what happens is this:

I got a Nav Bar labeled with “OPN”, wich is my One Page Navigation excluding Welcome, Mission,Service (soon community as well) I can only see OPN by clicking on it the TABS Welcome, Mission,Service (soon community as well) are now including.
    Blog is already there.

Now you gathered every Information needed. The final question to sum it all up is.

How do I create a Navigation Bar in wich my OPN are separated from the original “page name” so people don’t have to click on OPN to become able to see the tabs I wanted to show at first.

Hopefully this makes things more clear. I am ready to create something in Illustrator and visualize it more cleary for you guys tomorrow if theres not already the all fixing answer in here.

    Have a nice evening!

    Hello Robert,

Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. The following question is not clear at the moment.

How do I create a Navigation Bar in wich my OPN are separated from the original “page name” so people don’t have to click on OPN to become able to see the tabs I wanted to show at first.

If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Hello Lely,

Sadly I don’t know any website at the moment wich achieved what I want to achieve but let’s make things totally clear now…

At the moment my Navigation-Bar looks like this: (Screenshot 1)

OPN is my One-Page Navigation. I can navigate trough this OPN by clicking on Welcome, Mission, Service or Community. It will then scroll directly down to the choosed Section of the OPN.

As you can see they look like as they are being hovered frequently, this need to be fixed as well.

What I want to make my Navigation-Bar looks like is this: (Screenshot 2)

You get here visualized what I intended to explain by words.
    _

Also here’s my actual Menu Structure: (Screenshot 3)

Could make things more easy to understand for you.
    _

Also here’s another oral explanation of what I intend to achieve. It’s nothing complex:

I want to achieve a Navbar in wich the first 4 Tabs (Welcome, Mission, Service, Community) are there to get introduced into my website called supervolant.com. They should be able to click on any one of those 4 Tabs and still be one the same page but at another position, at wich they got automatic scrolled trough.

After Visitors got trough the “Introduction” they can feel free to visit other pages, like the blog page I already setup for you guys.

    _

I hope I’ve made things more simple for you to understand now.

Thank you very much for supporting me!

    Hi,

I went ahead and created another menu (One Page Navigation) then activated it in your homepage.

Seem to be working fine now, kindly check on your end.

Well, this is awesome! Works fluently like my german.

But one more thing. If you go for the Blog Page. There’s still this useless OPN-Page-Tab.

Is there a way to just delete that away without using data and have the at the same time no loss of functionality because this is for real exactly what I intended to do.
    _

I thank you really much. It’s awesome to see a company still caring about their customers!

Please keep working this way no matter how big you will become, what I really wish for X and this kind of web-revolution!
