First of all, I want to apologize in advance if this topic has been reviewed many times before by others. I have tried to tweak things myself via the Customizer but for some reason, I cannot get the proper result. Also, there used to be a section on Customizer where CSS code or snippets could be entered but that has been removed a long time ago.

My problem is a spacing issue on my Nav Bar at the top of my website: http://www.gamertribute.com
There simply isn’t enough space below the Text Button categories. I took a screencap to show this in more detail:

Note that my cursor is over the “About” button, which enables the button to show up. I also have ads disabled. Normally there would be a horizontal banner ad just below the line demarcating the buttons on the NavBar and the space below. There is too little space below the “About”, for example. And there is too much space above the “Above” and other category buttons. On desktops/laptops, it’s not as bad. On mobile phones and other devices, there is such little space that the outline that shows up when hovering over the button actually overlaps with the line below. It doesn’t look good at all.

I tried using the Customizer to tweak it but it’s not responsive. Perhaps I’m missing something. Please let me know how I can fix this. Thank you.

    Hi There,

Please navigate to Customizer > Header > NAVBAR:

+ Navbar Top Height (px) > change to 50

+ LINKS – ALIGNMENT > Navbar Top Link Alignment (px) > change to 25:

    Hope it helps 🙂

Thank you so much! I tried the values you posted (had to tweak the navbar top link alignment slightly) and it seems to have worked. I was also able to increase the NavBar font size a bit (which was also my original goal) and it still all fits.

    Respectfully,
    Vik
