I was working on a new page for my site (it had been in draft form for a few days), i had it finished and was just updating the links on my site and publishing it when i noticed it had disappeared suddenly. It still exists in the page list but when i click on it i get taken to a page called “index of hotels” (hotels being the page name), see screen shot.
I can’t get it back or see what could possibly have happened. Like i said it still exists in the pages list but when clicked just the index of page shows.
Please help, i have no idea what has happened. Any ideas?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. It seems you have a folder named “hotels” within your WordPress directory. Let’s check your directory and remove that.

Its back! Thankyou so much for your help! But can you explain how that happened? I don’t get how deleting that file brought back my page? Thankyou

Probably this folder was set in a place where it was blocking WordPress to communicate well among it´s files.
