Hi, I am having issues using bundled demo’s and with the entire X addons page infact. I deleted my site and reinstalled fresh and deleted my cache and history on three different browsers and tried on each. Nothing happens when I click on the extenstion install buttons, and if I click more information it just scrolls me up to the top of the page. In the demo content box, there are no demo sites. It has “Expanded” and “Standard” with nothing under either. When I click on the folder icon in the demo content box it just opens another tab in my browser displaying the exact page “X addon” that I was just on. I also tried with WP importer and it would not work. I will post below this privately with my login details if you need to take a look. Joe

    Hi there,

Please contact your host provider, Here is a form letter you may use:

    Hello [provider],

My WordPress installation is having a hard time making outbound HTTP requests. I’m using X theme and it makes a request to community.theme.co for setting up automatic updates. Here is the error message I’m receiving:

[screenshot, or copy/paste the verbose error message (see above regarding the &x-verbose flag)]

Could you please do the following?

    – Ensure my site can reach this domain: community.theme.co
    – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled.
    – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates.

Let us know how it goes.

My Host provider replied with…. We have allowed the outgoing connections to the above mentioned API as per your request.

This did not change anything however, I’m still having the same issues. Please note that I do not receive any error messages on my end.

    Hi there,

Please check this other thread, https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/my-license-will-not-validate/. They should allow the IPs mentioned on that thread.

    Thanks!
