Hi,

Is it possible to translate a web developed with X and cornerstone and based on an extended demo.
I want to make it multilingual (spanish/english) but when I try to do it with WPML, the page appears to be blank.

What is the way to achieve this with WPML? is there another plugin recommended? I wouldn’t mind duplicating the pages and translating them manually, but I need the menu to be translated and also correctly linked.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
The guide linked is about translating the theme, but what I’m trying to set is a multilingual content site: showing different pages (same page, different languages), different menus, depending on the user’s language choice

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! When using WPML, you have to create different set of menu and also create or duplicate a page in translating your content. Because you are using Cornerstone, you have to use the templates feature in Cornerstone. For example, if you are about to translate about-us page, you need to edit it in Cornerstone and go to Layouts > Templates and then click “Save”. You can either download the template (*.csl file) or save it to your library. You can then import this template on the about-us page for the other language because as you notice the translation page is blank at first, this is why you have to use the templates.
