Hi, I have moved a site created in a subdirectory to display at Root. Taking over the site.

Now I can’t edit pages using cornerstone.

When clicking on “edit with cornerstone”

It forces me to re-enter a password.

Then takes me to the page that a front end user would see. So I can’t edit pages made in cornerstone.

    Home

    WordPress 4.6.1
    XTheme Installed Version 4.6.2
    Cornerstone: Version 1.3.3

The move was done by copying the index.php and .htaccess files from the wordpress install to the route area.

Thanks in advance for your assistance

    Hey there,

It looks like you haven’t migrated properly. Please see https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/ for proper migration process.

    Thanks.

Okay this went wrong the first time I did it, all the styling disappeared, no access to WordPress installation in short bad stuff happened. Anyway, a backup was restored and back to the start. I must have misread / typed something so can I check

    First Row

    Finds: //readability.co.uk/blog
    Replaced by: //readability.co.uk

Second Row: – is this needed as the wordpress installation isn’t moving. Only the index.php & htaccess are moving.

    Finds: /home/sites/readability.co.uk/public_html/blog
    Replaced by: /home/sites/readability.co.uk/public_html/blog

De-select the GUIDs, hit the export button.

    Thanks
