    Hello.

I am interested in creating a Conversation Section for users to have open dialogue with each other. For starters, unless you can recommend a plugin or other method, I plan to simply use the WordPress ‘comments’ tool. When activated for a page the ‘comments’ section is placed at the very bottom of the page. I am interested in moving this section to the top of the page, so it is a ‘newsfeed’ more than a comments section, and then having page content below. Any ideas?

    Kindes Regards.

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! If you don’t have any content then technically the comments are on top of the page. However it doesn’t sounds usual but if you still want you can modify the template with Child Theme. Like you can swap the content and comments template from /framework/views/{stack}/wp-single-php

    Hope this makes sense.

I believe it does. I agree with your note that no content would put the comments section at the top of the page, however I would like to also have content. What I am really after is what MS Sharepoint calls a newsfeed, where you can have dialogue with members, post content, and hold ‘conversations’. The page I am doing this on is a ‘Members’ page, which is why I am interested. It would be a forum where they can interact. Any idea the best plugin or method to do this?

    Hi There,

Thank you for the clarification. You may want to check buddypress.

    Hope this helps.
