CLeverfoxParticipantHello
I updated the theme from quite an old version to 4.6.4 and the mobile menu has corrupted. Please see attached image.
I have looked in the search and tried turning off 3rd party plug ins, yet this still happens. The desktop site in fine and unaffected.
many thanks 🙂

JoaoModeratorHi There,
You will need to perform a Child Theme update this time:
Please refer to:

Hope that helps

CLeverfoxParticipantHi
thanks, it helped to a point, although some of the styling did not work for some reason.
Another issue that has arisen since then is that Revolution slider now does not show, and the footer has disappeared.
It is a terrible shame that out of all the themes I have used, this is the most troublesome 🙁
I had the unfortunate job or repairing an updating someone else’s work from years ago. The link is here http://novaacoustics.co.uk/
Can you let me know what my be wrong in your experience. Thank you

CLeverfoxParticipantIt is 01:28 and I am going to reset the site 6 days as my client is very annoyed, so if you follow the link it will look like it is working. I am about to transfer everything to a dev server now and hope to have things working on there eventually, so as not to upset my client further.
I would still like a workaround please

CLeverfoxParticipantOk I set up a dev server at http://novaacoustics.cleverfox.uk/ so you can see the problem … hope this helps 🙂

RupokMemberHi there,
Can you try re-installing a fresh copy of X there? Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

CLeverfoxParticipantI installed a fresh copy, yet that removed even more functionality and styling … so I reverted to the backup.

CLeverfoxParticipantI have added this code
.x-navbar .desktop .x-nav li.menu-item-has-children:hover>.sub-menu {
display: block;
}.x-navbar .desktop .x-nav li.menu-item-has-children>.sub-menu {
display: none;
}which has sorted the nav bar issue.
Now to find out why the footer and rev sliders have gone away 🙂

CLeverfoxParticipantAlthough the menu does not expand on mobile :/

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
Thank you for providing the credentials. I’ve activated your Parent Theme and everything has started work as expected. It looks like there are customization in your Child Theme that are outdated which is breaking the theme. Please review your Child Theme and update or remove the customization that is outdated.
Cheers!
