    Hi

    I’m working with X and I’m noticing that on mobile my navigation menu will appear for a second and then collapse again almost immediately. I’ve seen that others here have had the same issue and were able to fix it by updating the x-shortcodes plugin.

    My problem is that I try to update the plugin, it destroys the layout of my site.

    Any help or insight would be appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! It seems you are using obsolete version of X and X Shortcode is already replaced by Cornerstone.

    Kindly update your theme to latest version, remove X Shortcodes from your site. As you are updating from very older version, make sure to create a full backup of your site or use staging server to perform upgrade.

    Thats what I was afraid of. Two questions?

    Is there any way to fix the small issue of the mobile menu without upgrading? the site works fine now except for that small issue.

    If i do upgrade to cornerstone, will I need to rebuild the current site or will it be able to maintain the design and layout?

    Hi there,

    You need to update as it could solve the issue.
    Updating won’t alter your content, you can still edit old pages with shortcodes.
