    Hi,
    I put the following css into the customiser to change the hamburger menu to say ‘Menu’.

    x-icon-navicon:before, .x-icon-reorder:before, .x-icon-bars:before {
    content: ‘Menu’ !important;
    font: normal 20px/1 FontAwesome !important;

    Looked great in mobile view, but caused terrible problems on the main menu..it became crushed at the top and unreadable . Also it made the footer shoot up to the top of the page.

    I have used this css on another X Theme site I’m working on and it was fine.

    Can you check why it’s causing these issues please.

    About Ambleside

    I’ve had to remove the css as the site is live and being used all the time.

    Thank for your help!

    Hey Sarah,

    It could be that some of your custom styles are conflicting with that code.

    Hi There,

    I’ve just added the following CSS:

    a.x-btn-navbar {
        width: auto;
    }
    a.x-btn-navbar i:before {
        content: 'Menu';
    }

    Everything seems to work fine.

    Cheers!

    Hi again,
    mobile menu looks good. Just one problem that I’ve realised.
    When you go to the mobile menu it doesn’t consistently show the user that there is a sub sub menu (the full size menu is a mega menu due to the amount of links)
    By that I mean that if I make the screen a little bigger than an iPad it still shows the user a sub menu,
    however on a mobile phone or iPad, the indication of a sub menu disappears.
    the site is

    About Ambleside

    the main problem is with the first link ‘about ambleside’ which then has two sub menus, news and pictures. It is news and pictures that fail to show the two down facing arrows indicating further links on a mobile phone screen or iPad.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi, I’ve moved stuff around after I wrote to you. So the menu no longer has the same layout. But I would still very much appreciate a solution to the indication of sub>sub menu items.
    Thanks

    Hi Sarah,

    I can’t seem to replicate the issue on my end. Would you mind providing us with some screenshots?

    Thank you.
