Hi Guys,
Great work on the theme, love it.
I used a JS solution from the link below, to mix one page Design with a Primary menu. It worked just fine one the One Page, but on the external page the menu item doesn’t get “active” status. Any clue why? Try the dummy menu item for test.

If you want to use mixed menu with one page links and standard links at the same time
I would reccomend you creating to menus instead of using a js solution.
Create 2 menus:
One page menu > Links to #yoursectionid
Another Page menus > links to yourwebsite.com/#yoursectionid
Once you have created both menus assign your one page menu to the page that contain your #id links
