Testing my site in GTmetrix, I keep getting a low score in the Specify a cache validator section. It is giving the URLwhich I think comes from the X theme, as it’s the font used.

Is there a way to fix this?

The following resources are missing a cache validator. Resources that do not specify a cache validator cannot be refreshed efficiently. Specify a Last-Modified or ETag header to enable cache validation for the following resources:

http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato%3A400%2C400italic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900italic%2C900&subset=latin%2Clatin-ext&ver=4.6.0

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

That URL is originating from google CDN. And you can only apply Etag on the resources coming from your site. Please check this related issue http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17382333/cache-validator-for-google-webfonts
