    I purchased a license, starting to create a webpage on one domain and now want to move that website to another domain. What is the best way to do this? I’m keeping my hosting with my current provider but want to make sure I do it correctly in terms of licensing and naming the license. Do I change what domain it is licensed to?

    To add, I want to ensure that the work I’ve done on the website is still intact when I transfer, having trouble determining the best order of steps to do this. I know enough to back up, but when do I move in ftp, when do I transfer/rename license?

    Hi there,

    You can just revoke the license from WordPress Dashboard > X Addons and remove the domain from your Themeco account license page. Then assign your new domain and validate it again.

    Is that migration guide only for bringing a site to host with x? I have hosting with bluehost, will this guide still apply?

    Also should I revoke and rename prior to moving?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back. The mentioned migration ways will make sure you won’t break X or Cornerstone. So yes it’s best for X websites. And they works on every host.
