Looking at the theme (just bought and loaded on local setup), there are only og meta tags, as in og:title and og:description. Don’t understand why basic meta tags are not coded in. So I cannot create a nice meta description for the post, or the meta title. I am really impressed with the theme and feel like I am missing something here. Please comment, thanks. I have used Yoast seo in the past, have been for years and do not mind using that plugin if there is no conflict.

Thanks for writing in! X theme is having default meta tags already in it. However, if you would like to have more control over them, you can use a SEO plugin like “WordPress SEO by Yoast” as you mentioned.
