ChristianModeratorI’ve set the previous reply as private.
That is possible by creating a page per category and using the Recent Post element. You could also use the built-in archive page. Go to Post > Categories and view your category.
Thanks.

RadModeratorHi there,
1. Moving is possible through jQuery and CSS without editing the template, would you mind providing a sample design based on your current site? That’s because your sample is a listing, while portfolio item is single item.
2. You can change it in Admin > Appearance > Customizer > Portfolio > Custom URL Slug, then make sure to re-save your permalink at Admin > Settings > Permalinks. The custom slug will only take effect after this last step.
3. You mean filter by category? You can check this https://wordpress.org/plugins/blog-post-filter/screenshots/. It can be implemented easily by few lines of codes, but maybe it’s more convenient if you can control it through admin.
4. Yes, you can change that in Admin > Appearance > Customizer > Blog > Content > Excerpt Length, the Full Post Content on Index should be off, else, Excerpt length option will not appear.
5. You mean remove the entire post meta? You can turn that off at Admin > Appearance > Customizer > Blog > CONTENT > Post Meta.
Hope these helps.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Please provide the URL of your Portfolio.
The thread is getting very long and kind of hard to follow up, if you have further requests please open a new thread.
Thanks

KeanuParticipantHi Joao,
No problem! After thinking about it, it may just be easier to do it as posts rather than portfolio items. Two things towards it though, firstly, is it possible to show all posts from a category using the “recent posts” element in cornerstone? If not, how should I go around showing all of them?
Secondly, I essentially need the page to mimic this one: http://brendon.com/books/ styling wise for the posts. Is this something you can help with please?
Kind Regards,

JoaoModeratorHi Josh
You can add up to 4 posts on each Element, but you can adjust the offset so the next 4 are different.
And you can use the element multiple times.
Make them in a way that there is just one post per column that way we can help you style the page after like brendon.com
You can check reference here: http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/recent-posts/
Hope it helps

KeanuParticipantHi Rad,
Just to confirm incase there has been any missunderstanding. Essentially what i’m trying to do is move around the “Recent posts” element on the “events” page so it is styled the same as the books page.
On the events page, move the featured image to the left hand side on the recent posts element and having the header / additional information below it. Hopefully that makes sense.
I only created the books page like that for a better visual representation of what i’d like to do with the recent posts element on the events page.
Kind Regards,
-Josh -
