Since the last X-Theme update, anything that I upload to the Media folder just shows up as a little question mark and I don’t know why.

At first I was getting the dreaded http error at upload. So I started making sure that my files were of a reasonable size. Now the uploads act like they are working, but I just get a tiny blue question mark and nothing else.

The url of my site is http://kronergraphics.com
I’ll post my login credentials in a private reply below.

    I’m using WordPress version 4.5.3

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

So maybe it’s some sort of permissions problem?!?
I’m not even sure how to change this, so I don’t know why it would suddenly be different.

This attached screenshot is the error I get when I click on my Resume tab, which is connected to a PDF in my Media file.

    Hi there,

Yes, it’s a permission problem. It’s either there is no read permission or your security blocks access to it. You may want to consult it to your hosting. I can also check it if you’ll provide your FTP login credentials.

    Thanks!

Ugh. Now my entire media library, and so my entire website, is nothing but little blue question marks.
    What do I do now?

    Absolutely.

The website in question is the KronerGraphics website.

So my site still looks the same. I am unable to see any media files whatsoever.
Is there some other information you need from me to make this work?

I just finally figured it out on my own.
Apparently, during the last WordPress update, some of my permissions got messed up.
It took forever, but I changed them all to 755 and now everything seems to be working.
    Thanks anyway.
