SandieParticipantHi,
I want to get the size of my uploaded images correct ones and for all.
I read somewhere that I could ask the support team of my theme, which is you guys 🙂
What is the (maximum) column width for the theme?
What is the the width if I divid the width of the “screen” in two part columns?I am using the Ethos Stack, and I have side attribute template: “Blank, No Container” for most of my pages.
If I want to make a Full Screen cover divided between two sections, how much is the height than for it to look good?
English is not my native language, so I hope you understand what I mean. Cause when trying to find what size is the best for fullwidth slider or an image to fit in one of the columns (when the side is divided in 2 parts width), it seems to say different sizes for all of them all the time.
So shall I use 1920 x 1200 or 1600 x 800, or which one depending on what I am after.
Hope you can help me out with this!
Thanks!
Best Regards

ChristianModeratorHey Sandra,
This is a tricky question since we’re taking responsive design into account here so there’s no single solution that’ll make your image look good since we do not know your exact design requirements. The column’s width is based on percentage. Assuming you’ve turned off Column Container and Marginless Columns on in a 2 Column setup. The width of each column would is 50% so when you’re in a 1920 x 1080 screen or monitor, you divide 1920 by 50% or 2 so you have 960px per column while the height depends on your image and design. If your setup is Fullscreen then your image’s height must be 1080px. If you shrink the screen down or view in a different device, you’ll get a different screen width and height. With that said, it is best you hire a web developer to work closely with you as this would need custom development.
Thanks.
