AnonymousInactiveHello,
I’m moving an existing site that uses Markdown heavily to the X theme and I cannot find a Markdown plugin that renders with the X theme.
I’m running WordPress 4.5.2, X 4.5.2, Cornerstone 1.2.4. I’ve tried the markdown support provided by JetPack, the Markdown plugin (by Michel Fortin which has worked well for me in my previous site).

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. It seems your given page was built with Cornerstone. Did you use the Markdown within Cornerstone or in default editor? Would you clarify a bit because the page seems corrupted as it might be edited with both default editor and Cornerstone.
Cheers!

AnonymousInactiveHello,
The initial pages were built with Cornerstone (Main, Tutorials, Support, Company, Free Trial and Buy Now). I then imported a series of Markdown-formatted blog posts and pages and turned on the Markdown plugin. At that point, the Markdown renders but, as you see, the cornerstone pages do not. If I disable the Markdown plugin, the cornerstone pages once again render but of course the Markdown posts and pages do not.
I have only edited the Cornerstone pages with Cornerstone.

AnonymousInactiveHi Again,
If this is something that cannot be made to work, please let me know and I’ll move on to some sort of plan B. I’m already several days past my deadline.
Cheers

RupokMemberHi Mark,
Thanks for updating. You can not modify a Cornerstone generated page that way. Certainly Markdown will work with X but you need to use the default editor. Cornerstone is not an editor rather a page builder and pages are stored as serialized data, in the post meta table. So it will be affected if you edit and save outside of Cornerstone or use another plugin to modify.
So for markdown, kindly use the default editor.
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers!

AnonymousInactiveHi,
No, it does not really make sense to me. I created the X theme pages in Cornerstone and imported Markdown blog posts which are plain text (i.e. created in the default editor).
I don’t understand what it is that I did wrong and more importantly how to correct the problem I’ve created for myself.
Cheers
