Hi, my clients regularly put out media releases, which i’ve built as posts, then placed in a grid formation via recent posts – this way, when their new media release goes out, they just build a new post and it appears on the media release page as well as a recent news area on the home page.

http://cewaustralia.wpengine.com/media-and-speeches/They want the user to be able to click on the recent post item on the grid and have that click action launch the download of the media release pdf. Is there a way to make the item itself an active link? – essentially putting a link on the feature image that appears in the ‘recent post’ grid item, that will launch the download of the media release pdf?
