I really love the minimalism of the Icon stack, but I’d prefer its unique sidebar to work as a usual one, scrolling with the page rather than separately. Could I somehow turn this feature off and still use the Icon stack?

However, I got one small issue: under the sidebar, there’s a grey background added now:

How can I remove it?

Thanks for writing back. It’s because the space is empty since you have more content in content area than the sidebar. Since your body background is set to grey (#f3f3f3) so it’s appearing. You can set the body background to white to get rid of this. Let’s set it from Customize > Layout and Design > Background Options > Background Color – http://prntscr.com/ciln56
