Please try this code:

.x-flexslider-shortcode-container {
    overflow: visible;
    position: relative;
}

.slider-container .x-flexslider {
    position: absolute;
    top: -40px;
}

I meant the full-width rev slider, not the slider shortcode (although if it works with that i dont mind switching over).

However, the code doesnt seem to work.
