    I only want one dofollow link from a website I’m building, so I don’t want the link to my website live in all references to my company in the footer of my client’s website. How do I make only the homepage footer link a live hyperlink and the rest of them plain text on other pages? See attached in next comment.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the URL. The footer is global for all pages and you can’t just use different footers for different pages. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
