JuliusParticipantHi
Mailchimp single opt-in … I’m sorry for posting yet another topic about this, but I couldn’t locate the issue.
I followed the instructions from: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/mailchimp-form-opt-in-users-option-not-working/#post-219264
I have:
* Installed an activated the x child theme
* Pastedadd_filter('x_email_mailchimp_skip_double_opt_in','__return_true');into functions-php (bottom line)
* Checked “Opt-In New Users” and selected my list (Fotoklog udstyr)
* Checked “Skip double opt-in”
* Unchecked “Send a final welcome mail” in Mailchimp
* Only got one field (email) which obviously is both visible and required.But i keep getting the “Please Confirm Subscription” email.
Can you help me?
X: 4.6.2
Connects – Mailchimp Addon: 2.0.0
ConvertPlug: 2.3.1The page with the opt-in: http://www.fotoklog.dk/udstyr

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Regarding confirmation email, if the user who subscribed to your list receives an email that he has subscribed to your list, this seems a normal behaviour of Mailchimp.
As for the notifications, please contact Mailchimp support with regard to this as we don’t have any control over how it manages notifications.
Thank you!

JuliusParticipantHi There,
It is not a confirmation email, it is the standard double opt-in email asking the user to verify their subscription to the newsletter (which is what I’m trying to avoid).

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Please go through the following thread (https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/mailchimp-form-opt-in-users-option-not-working/) as there are some changes involved in MailChimp API.
Thanks!

JuliusParticipantHi there,
I already went through the thread as i mentioned without successfully fixing the problem.
Anyway, I found another thread which said there was another switch under ConvertPlug which you had to flick in order to avoid double opt-in. That did it 🙂
Got another question, but I’m opening a new thread so others can search for it:
https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/identify-email-list-signup-source-with-convertplug/Thanks!
