    I have installed the trick to skip double optin (works)
    BUT
    I deactivated the welcome email on mailchimp and in the plugin on wordpress. And getting still the welcome email.
    Why?

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! You could try testing for a plugin conflict. Connects – Mailchimp Addon and X Email Forms might be in conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
