nicomorganParticipantDespite trying everything I can think of I cannot get my email form to integrate with Mailchimp – it just produces an error every time.
I have tried creating a new API key (fine) and it goes green when I enter it into the settings page (and loads the lists) but when someone tries to enter an email from the front end it produces and error every time. There are several forms on the site but none of them work?
Site: equiratings.com
Many thanks for any advice, in advance.

LelyModeratorHi There,
I got this error when I check your mailchimp email form:
MailChimp Error: MMERGE1 must be provided - Please enter a value. [Mailchimp_List_MergeFieldRequired]It looks like there’s a field in MailChimp that’s marked as required that you’re not sending data too.
Usually the first custom field you create in MailChimp gets “MERGE1” as it’s merge tag, but it could also be that you just have a field named MMERGE1 that’s marked as required.
Try going into your MailChimp account and removing the “required” checkbox.
The infogram is there but it is located at the bottom of the page. See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDX01YQh9G. Please check in with the plugin developer on how it is properly integrated.
Hope this helps.
