domkaminParticipantHey,
the mailchimp form in my page (http://dominickamin.com/) says “successfully added” but doesn’t add the subscriber to the list.
“Opt-In new user” is turned on and the correct list is chosen. How do I approach this?
Thanks for any help!June 7, 2016 at 6:40 am #1029747
lenax29ParticipantHi domkamin,
I myself have just implemented the sign-up form into my website and for some reason the very first subscription did not worked.
I thought it was because I wrote my name in cyrillic and then tested using latin.
It worked straight away. Then I tested again in cyrillic and it worked again.I am not sure whether the characters used was causing this or there is some other kind of glitch that prevents the very fist subscription being added to the list.
Just an idea here – you can try subscribing more than once and be sure to refresh your page on MailChimp.
Hope this helps.

DarshanaModerator@lenax29 … Thank you for your valuable input.
Also could you please try testing for a plugin conflict? You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
We have demonstration videos on our knowledge base article on how to setup MailChimp Email Extension properly (https://community.theme.co/kb/extension-email-forms/).
Let us know if you still have any issues.
Thanks!
