adagency2013ParticipantWe need the the logo div in the header to be editable. we just want to be able to add three css styled div/columns. In the columns we are just putting a logo and a button and the site title.
Very simple setup. The header is in the Stack mode.May 16, 2016 at 9:46 pm #994817
John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Editing the logo via the Customizer is limited to using a Text Logo or an image. Making it more editable like adding a content area for HTML in the customizer is not a feature of X.
It would also fall beyond our scope of support as it would require custom development.
We can add it as a feature request, but I can’t promise implementation or a timeline at this point, however, we do listen to our users and we’re always trying to improve. When we see something beneficial we do our best to make it happen. We’re actually working on a number of things so if this does get added to the pipeline, we’ll be sure to announce it when it’s ready.
If you are confident editing theme files you can use a child theme and edit these files manually to get what you want.
/wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/global/_navbar.php
or
/wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/global/_brand.php
If you are not confident to this on your own, you may need to engage a developer for a custom solution.
Thanks for understanding. Have a great day!
