    Hi X Theme Team,

I just purchased your theme and wanted to import it to WordPress, but got the error you see in the title.
I do not have a hosting purchased yet, so my wordpress is just “localhost” at the moment.

I followed the steps described here: https://atlantisthemes.com/fix-upload_max_filesize/ (also here http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/) – namely, I found a file named php.ini on my computer and changed upload_max_filesize to be equal to 64MB, then relaunched WordPress and tired to import the theme again, but the error persisted.

This is my first contact with WordPress, so if you could provide a comprehensive step-by-step guide to solving this issue, instead of just pointing me to a link, I would appreciate that.
(I also saw the option to add the theme manually through FTP, but I have no idea what that is, so if there is any way to avoid that, I would prefer that.)

    Thank you!

    Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! You haven’t install the X theme yet because you are experiencing the max upload size issue? Please install the X theme manually. You can simply unzip the x_package.zip and find the x.zip. You still need to unzip this file and copy the x folder to your WordPress installation within your local computer. To know more how you can install X theme manually, please check it here: https://community.theme.co/kb/theme-installation/

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

In the end, changing the php.ini file on my computer, as described in the aforementioned link, worked – I just needed to restart my computer instead of just restarting WordPress. Thanks for your help and additional suggestions!

    Have a great day!
