mgerityParticipantHi. The Knowledge Base says it has both written and video tutorials, but when I go there, all the content is ONLY divided up by subject matter, not type. I want to see a list of ONLY the video tutorials, nothing else. Where can I find that?
Better yet, where can I find a list of “start here” type materials for the theme (again, preferably listing the videos separate from the written materials)?

Prasant RaiModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
I’m sorry but currently we don’t have such setup for the video tutorials. Our knowledge base section includes both article type and video base guides (https://theme.co/x/member/kb/).
Thanks!

mgerityParticipantOkay thanks.
I’d strongly request that you put together a “getting started with the theme” list of introductory materials–it would be a huge help for people like me who are moderately familiar with WordPress, but not familiar with the theme and the included plugins at all. And, it cannot possibly be all that hard to simply present a list of all of the videos in the Knowledge Base with links to them. Would be a huge, huge help to me.
In fact, I actually purchased two themes at the same time, and I’ve been pondering which one to use for my site. The fact that the Avada support pages have both of the things I’m requesting (videos collected in a single place and a checklist of getting started materials) is really making me think I should go that way. That presentation of the training materials simply makes far more sense to a person with limited time.

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
We certainly appreciate the feedback! We update our knowledge base quite frequently. Hopefully we’ll add more videos regarding theme setup and getting started material.
Cheers!

mgerityParticipantThe real key here is to give new users to the theme a roadmap so that they can efficiently use their time getting to know the theme. Any new user really needs to know two things: how is this theme different from a standard WP installation, and how do you setup/use those differences. So, ideally you’d give users the following:
1) overview of the theme;
2) description of ways that the theme is different from a standard WP installation, with those differences ranked as biggest/most important on down;
3) tutorials on each of the differences identified in #2, which can be taken from biggest/most important on down.That would save people like me hours of time trying to figure this all out on our own.

RadModeratorI agree, though, technical and development roadmap will be quite big in terms of comparison, there are many ways to do it depending on development style of user/developer. I’ll forward your suggestion 🙂
