    Hey there,

I’m using links to jump to different sections inside pages. An example would be . These are turning up as 404 errors in Google Search Console.

I noticed that I did not use the # symbol in the links, i.e. #x-section-3. Nonetheless, all the links work properly. There is just the 404 issue with Google. Do I need to add the # symbol to section links?

    Thanks for your response.

    Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Is the link is just a simple text link? Yes, you need the # sign to jump the links on that section. And use absolute link.

    Cheers!
