    That’s awesome! Thank you for persevering with this!

    The IP is leftover from the site being set up internally – there should only be a couple of test images/video that reference that & they should be replaced soon. Thanks for pointing it out though – do you recommend any plugins that help check for such things?

    Thanks again for the outstanding support!

    Hey Mark,

    Please try Velvet Blues URL Redirect.

    Hope that helps. 🙂

    Hello Mark M,

    I am also desperately trying to linked towards tabbed content, within an accordion on my home page. For example, my accordion lists: “Classes Offered at Studio”, then it contains roughly 10 tabs. I would like to link to each particular tab from a sidebar navigation.

    I followed the instructions on this post; however, I’m guessing b/c it is an accordion + tabs, not just tabs, that it might need a different script?

    Can you please advise?

    Hi there,

    We could look into doing this for an accordion. Before we get to that, I noticed that you’re using an old version of X. Can you please update to the latest version?

    You’ll also need to update X Shortcodes. If you’re using a version older than 2.2.1, the best thing to do would be delete X Shortcodes entirely via FTP. Then X will prompt you to install the latest version. After this, future versions of X Shortcodes will be available through automatic updates.

    You’ll also need to install a child theme.

    After you update and install the child theme, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look at your site specifically? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply to ensure that your data remains hidden

    Hi eXplain D,

    Not sure I can really help – The solution from support worked for me in that I can link to a specific tab on a different page. I would also like to be able to link to a specific open accordion, but I haven’t managed to get that to work yet – please let me know if you solve this!

    One thing to check – when you add the code from this thread, does the tab change even though your accordion hasn’t opened?

    Good luck!
    Mark

    Just to confirm, the code from earlier only works with tabs. We have however added a feature request so we can explore making this part of X in future development.

    Can you please explain step by step how to implement the link to specific tab code posted earlier in this thread?

    How do you call the specific tab in the href linking to said tab?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    that’s the link structure on the site, e.g. to get to tab no. 3

    <a href="http://www.abc.com/testpage/#tab-3">Link to tab 3</a>

    and this is the javascript in the Customizer

    //jump to tabbed-cont. section #335918//
    jQuery(function($){
      $(window).load(function() {
        var selector = $('.x-nav-tabs .x-nav-tabs-item a[href="#' + location.href.split("#").slice(-1)[0] + '"], .x-accordion-toggle a[href="#' + location.href.split("#").slice(-1)[0] + '"]');
        jump_to_tab( $, selector );
      });

      $('.enable_jump_to').off('touchstart click');
      $('.enable_jump_to').on('touchstart click', function(e){
        e.preventDefault();

        var $this = $(this),
            selector = $('.x-nav-tabs .x-nav-tabs-item a[href="' + $this.attr('data-jump-target') + '"], .x-accordion-toggle a[href="' + $this.attr('data-jump-target') + '"]');

        jump_to_tab( $, selector );
      });
    });

    function jump_to_tab($, tab_nav) {
      if( tab_nav.length >= 1 ) {
        $( tab_nav ).click();
        $('html, body').animate({
          scrollTop: tab_nav.offset().top - ( $('.x-navbar').height() + 50 )
        }, 700);
      }
    }

    Hope it helps, this works for me but for further help please contact support because I wouldn’t be able to solve any specific problems.

    Hi @tdzl

    Thanks for updating. You can follow what @c1s shared. Also the previous replies explained this better I believe and there are some working examples I can see.

    Cheers!
