    Hi there,

I have a question relating to linking content from a blog post to a protected page.

My big goal is trying to encourage new people to sign up for my newsletter by attracting them to content on a protected page. They sign up, they gain password access. At present within my blog, this protected content is hyperlinked to the page with the password login (not to any specific download). If they do not have a password, they are encouraged to sign up.

The problem is for people who have already signed up and have a password. The best I can do for them is give them the protected page address in the hyperlink which if their cookies are enabled they can skip the login. HOWEVER once in the protected page, they have to search out the content (download) they wanted. This could be a problem as the site grows because they will need to look hard for the specific resources noted in the blog posts.

Is there anyway to include the direct hyperlink for specific downloadable protected content in the blog post but not allow non-subscribers to access it without being directed to sign up?

    Hey there,

Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
