    Hi there,
When I add my website link to my linkedIN profile, it selects the first image on the page. I’ve got Yoast installed and I have added a ‘default background image’ but it doesn’t seem to identify it?

    Thanks for your help

    Hey Danny,

Please try disabling X Open Graph in Appearance > Customize > Social.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,
I’ve done this but it still just shows the first image on the page.

    Hi there,

Background image is different from image, usually, it picks the images added as standard image (eg. <img>). How about adding a featured image instead of a background?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,
I’ve tried that, it seems to be pulling in a different image from the twitter link?

It also seems to be grabbing the description from a paragraph half way down the page..

    Hi there,

Let’s try setting featured image for the pages. Background image won’t work.

    Thanks!

I have set the featured image, and don’t have any background images set. That doesn’t work. What else would you suggest?

Glad to hear that you were able to fix this.
