    Hi I have extensively tried the recommendations for simply enabling lightBox for either posts or portfolio galleries with little or no success, after searching the forum and knowledge base, I have tried the custom Js, combined with the customised functions.php (in the child theme), I have also tried the basic implementation of the Gallery shortcode options.
    I am creating a website for an artist so I need to make lots of galleries with lots of images and I would like to have a relatively automated system for my client to be able to add new galleries.
    It would be very nice to simply have a tick box to enable lightbox on all images (or at least all images with in the galleries or portfolio)

    Ok thank you! it’s the simple things.. I was setting the “link to” option before creating the gallery… is it also something simple I’m missing when trying to add lightbox to the portfolio items?
