    Greetings

Recently I was trying to debug my installation and was advised to delete my license and obtain a new one.

I found this very confusing and in the process it looks like I now have 2 licenses. And I’m wondering if this is causing my inability to update Cornerstone.

If someone would reply to this, I’ll include a screenshot of my license account in a private reply.

    Regards
    Bob

    Hi there,

    Yes you have two licenses.

Please check this link : https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation
Please let us know which steps are confusing.

    Hope it helps.

Ok. I only purchased 1 license when I originally bought X.

I haven’t purchased an additional license so I’m confused as to how I can have 2 of them.

And when I look at my Manage Licenses area it shows a THemco License number and an Envato Purchase code. Both for the same site. And nothing else.

When I look at the info article in the link you provided, my X Addons area looks nothing like the one shown in the article.

I’ve attached a screenshot for you to see.

Which steps are confusing? . . . right now the whole license thing is confusing.

Would you like me to send a screenshot of my Manage Licenses page?

I know where to manage my license.

At the Add On section it shows that my theme is validated.

But what I don’t know is:

    1. Why it shows that I have two licenses when I only purchased 1 license.
    2. How it’s possible for me have these 2 licenses.
    3. What to do to set the record straight.

As a side note…I’m not able to update Cornerstone and it isn’t even showing in my list of Extensions or Approved Plugins.

And I’m wondering if this has to do with this licensing situation.

What do you think I should do to clean up this 2 license issue ( and hopefully clean up the Cornerstone issue)?

    Hey There,

Looks like one of the two licenses slipped in and is an old purchase code from our prior system. I’ve resolved this for you. Try to validate everything now and see if that resolved it. I did a complete reset.

    Thanks

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing back.

You can update it manually by following proper guidelines :

    https://community.theme.co//kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/

But before that, we recommend you to kindly clear the cache of your site. Sometimes, updates not working due to the previous cache saved there. Kindly delete the Cache, if it still doesn’t work you can follow above guidelines.

Furthermore, you can even re-install it back via FTP.

To update manually please download X Theme folder from Theme Forest, you can locate the “cornerstone.zip” file under (“X/framework/plugins/”). Then unzip the plugin file and use a FTP Client software (FileZilla Client) to upload it into your server (“ROOT/wp-content/plugins/”) folder.

    Hope this helps!
