We are looking to migrate our WordPress website from our UAT environment to our PRODUCTION environment with our X theme license currently associated to the UAT environment. Can we simply FTP the site over from our UAT to our PRODUCTION environment without losing any of the theme functionality and then am I right in thinking that all we would need to do is change the license settings to point to our PRODUCTION environment and then delete the theme from our UAT environment? I would just like some assurance that we will not lose any functionality of the theme by changing environments?
Hi There,
Please install All in one migration plugin and export your whole site. Then import it into your new domain. That process will preserve all content, but URLs/domain will be updated depending on where you imported it.
We also recommend the premium plugin BlogVault.
After doing that.
Please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.Hope that helps,
