    Hey guys,

I would like to create a powerful landing page like Barack Obama did. I’ve tried to use MailChimp but I failed: https://klier.me/lp/

Should I use ConvertPlug instead? What’s the easiest way to achieve this landing page?

    Thank you for your help!

    Kris

    Hi there,

It’s a simple form so you can use any of them. But you can also try Revolution Slider and a form within the slide like this example – https://revolution.themepunch.com/wordpress-newsletter-signup/

It would be more aesthetic I believe. You can download the slider (Newsletter Hero) from here – https://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/

    Cheers!

    Hey,

thank you for helping me so quickly!

    Just out of sincere curiosity:

    1. How would it (fullscreen picture with email form) work with MailChimp? Like you did it on your preview site: http://demo.theme.co/email-forms-mailchimp/

    2. Why do you prefer “Slider Revolution” over “ConvertPlug”?

    Thanks again!

    1. It is not Fullscreen but rather just a tall section. You can set it up X Mailchimp extension https://community.theme.co/kb/extension-email-forms/ and then add your form in Cornerstone. To learn how to use Cornerstone, please see our Knowledge Base

    2. I believe my colleague was referring to the style or layout. Slider Revolution and ConvertPlug are not comparable since they differ in purpose and features. Please see more details about our Integrated Plugins in our Knowledge Base.

    Thanks.

    Hey,

I know how to use Cornerstone, but I don’t know how someone would get the fullscreen picture with a MailChimp email form.

It tried this two ways (always with the template “Blank – No Container | No Header, No Footer”:

    1. Background image set for the particular site + MailChimp form.

    2. No background image for the particular site + MailChimp form (with background image).

But it always ends unsatisfactory as you can see.

Is it even possible to create a fullscreen picture with an email form using MailChimp alone?

    Hi There,

You can create a section on Cornerstone and add a background image, make sure it is enough big, like 1600 x 800.

And add padding top and bottom 50% maybe a bit less.

    Add your mailchimp form element.

    Hope that helps
