I’m using layer slider for a couple of slides now (from reading this forum I believe the revolution slider is what’s causing my site to grind to a halt).

I’m trying to include the newsletter signup shortcode within a particular slide on the below linked page but it’s simply not appearing.

The shortcode has been put in as a text layer on the slide and the help text says that it accepts shortcode. What am i doing wrong?

Shortcode to be included is [sibwp_form].

It is not under construction, that is a published test page and what you see is the slider that I’m trying to add the shortcode to. The website homepage is:

Sorry for the confusion. We need to check the backend as well so check the shortcode.
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Hi there,

I think you didn’t add form shortcode correctly, where did you get the shortcode from?
Usually shortcodes contain form id, but yours is [sibwp_form].

There doesn’t appear to be an ID for this form. See screenshot. I’ve used the shortcode on the ‘home’ page in the newsletter section and it works fine.

Hi There,

I have wrapped your shortcode in a div tags

<div>[sibwp_form]</div>

on Layerslider and added padding to it via Customizer Custom CSS

#layerslider_8 form#sib_form_1-form {
  padding-top: 200px;
}

It is working now.
