    Hi,

    I am facing a bug with my layerslider (Version 6.1.0) : Anything I am trying to do : create a new slide, duplicate, change images… nothing is recorded ! My space quota is okay, everything seems to be ok, but it’s not working.

    Layerslider is working very well on a few websites on the same server.

    I only face problems since 6.1. A version on another website (neighbour on the same server) is working well, I even managed to copy, import and export sliders on this one, which is version 5.6.2.

    I erased and installed 5.6.2 version causes the same bug.on this website, no way I could record anything and desactivating other plugins didn’t worked out.

    System status is okay.

    Please help me.

    Hi Stephanie,

    Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

    You can find the latest version numbers here: (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

    If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    Hi,

    X theme is a 4.6.4 version.
    Compatibility versions are ok.

    I even bought a Layerslider licence, but it never worked.

    What can we do ?

    Hi,

    The Latest Supported Version of layerslider is Version 6.1.0

    I can see you have V 5.6.2.

    I did it again, and the problem remains the same.
    Layerslider is not working, I can’t use it.

    I did exactly as you said, it didn’t worked.
    Something weird : when I desactivate Layerslider and erase it, when I resinstall, (version 5 ou 6, it’s the same thing) the previous sliders samples I managed to import are appearing !
    Weird other fact : I can import samples, but I cannot change them, Layerslider is not recording anything.
    Also I cannot import my sliders, nothing happens.
    it’s simply not recording.

    What can we do now, please ?

    Hello Stephanie,

    We’re sorry you’re still having this issue.
    When I checked again, Layerslider is still version 5.6.10. See attached screenshot.
    Would you mind installing the latest version and leave there so we can check where the error is coming from? Leave some slider samples and then we will check the error when editing. Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply. It’s done.
    The only sliders I left are the origamy you installed.
    I can import samples from the layerslider library but I can change anything.
    I can’t import my sliders.

    I hope we can fix it.

    Hello Stephanie,

    I can see your issue. I tried adding a slider and then when I left and get back the slide that I have added is not there. Please make sure that your hosting is using at least PHP version 5.4.

    Hi,

    Thank you, I can’t tell you if PHP 5 is solving the problem as I am first downloading all my websites files, hoping PHP 5 won’t break those websites.

    I keep you posted.
