nourmoubayedParticipantDear Support, Dear Support,
Since last update, my Optimizepress Liveeditor is going nuts !
I cant save, elements dont load. AND the most major problem is that OP pages arent indexed by google anymore. Most my OP pages, stopped being fetched by google crawler after last update. Google crawl tells me that these pages are unreachable.
After 6 hours of digging into this issue, i learned that some elements on the OP pages are causing the google crawl to give “unreachable” error while fetching.
So when i removed these elements, and tried fetching manually, it completed. When i added these elements back, it was failing.
I tried everything to trooble shoot the problem. I disabled all plugins but still the issue persisted.
After contacting Optimizepress and working with them. we discovered that ThemeX Is causing this issue.
specifically, since last update.
If i change theme to a basic theme, everything will works fine. Optmizepress and liveeditor will work fine and google willbe able to fetch properly. But when i go back to ThemeX, these issues come up again. Please let me know how to solve this issue as its :
1- Stopping me from using Optimizepress.
2 – hurting my SEO rankings.Looking forward to hear from you !
PS: I am disabeling Theme CSS and JS from optimizepress settings. I’ve been using everything perfectly until the last Theme X update.

RadModeratorHi there,
We recommend testing the updates through cloned or staging site before doing it live.
I checked and I’m not really sure what should I look for. Would you mind providing some guide? Please provide the affected pages and procedure on how to reproduce these issues related to OP.
About the saving issue, it’s because you have a faulty javascript on customizer, and it has no proper closing. I went ahead and fixed it. Saving is now working, but with a slight delay to take effect due to your site’s cache.
Thanks!

nourmoubayedParticipantHi again,
Sorry for late reply. Im still trying to figure out the issue with my site.
First, After last update. If you check view source of my site, you will see over 80 warnings. This wasn’t there before.
Some of them are related to OptimizePress, other are related to the site code i believe.More over, Concerning the Optimizepress pages, They are giving errors when being fetched by google. ( Please find attached image)
The image shows two fetches attempts for the same page. One fetched correctly, and the other failed.
The difference between these two pages is that One of them had an image on top(didnt fetch), and the other didnt have image on top (fetched successfully) – Although they both have images by default. Just adding any new image is causing the error.
So Everytime im adding an image to pages on Optimizepress they are not being fetched anymore by Google and my Domain Authority went down to ZERO since last week because of site errors.
Doesnt make a lot of sense but this issue is causing us a lot of problems with our ranks and our SEO.
Please let me know what can be done.
Thanks

nourmoubayedParticipantUpdate: weirdest thing happened.
I backed up my site. and restored the back up instantly.
After that… Everything worked perfectly again.Any explanation or theory why this happened ?
Ive been trying to fix it for over a week and nothing worked.
backing up and restoring fixed everything although i restored the exact same site i just backed up.Cheers

NicoModeratorHi There,
It is probably because of cache(server, site or browser.). Upon restoring the backup, it removes the cache and install the latest backup saved.
Hope it clears your mind.
Thanks.

John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! Please check with your host to see if they have any performance scripts or caching running on your site from their end. Also describe the issue to them as they may be able to spot something on their logs. Let us know how that goes. Hope this helps – thanks!
