You are using cache plugin, please clear cache and check again.

Hi Christopher,
no unfortunately this doesn’t help.
The thing is when I minimize and then maximize the window the gap disappears.
I don’t really know what the issue could be.

Try adding the following jQuery script in your Customizer via Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global Javascript

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
  $(window).resize();
});

Don’t forget to clear your browser’s cache after adding the code. Let us know how this goes!
