Hello, For my site, deafboss.com,
1. I have the “under construction” add on, as well as the mailchimp add on activated for my site.
However, I’m wondering if you guys have another template that is compatible with my ethos1 xtheme, because I feel my ‘under construction’ landing page is not very attractive. I would like to customize it more if possible to add pictures or designs in the background. Or if there is another way to make a landing page where i can link my mailchimp directly as well, or any tutorials for that please if there’s no way to customize what i have already.
2. Also, I noticed when I select ‘use a custom under construction page’ and if i were to select a page, the page doesnt appear at all. So i’m wondering how I would create another page and make it a landing page if it doesn’t even work.

1.) Go to Addons > Under Construction > Use a custom Under Construction Page. Feel free to create a custom and select that page under that dropdown option.2.) Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look why it is not working? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / passwordDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

Another alternative to build a under construction lading page, I personally prefer it, is to not have under construction plugin on, but to create a new page, once you are on your wordpress classic back end editor, under the blue update button you will find > Page attributes > Page templates > Select Blank No Container No header No footer and save. Once you do that you will be able to create a page in Cornerstone that will have no link to other areas of your website and you can design the page as you do it with any page and insert your mailchimp widget there.
