David EParticipantI have several licences of X. But with one of my licences, I was wanting to use the template to build multiple individual landing pages for promotion support of my customers. I just want to assign them a unique page name in the URL and from my promotions folder of my server where the wordpress template is installed.
I’m sure there is a simple way, but can someone please recommend the simplest/easiest way for me to use the template to quickly build very simple individual landing pages within this “Promotions” site build? I have very little experience, but have successfully built one landing page for three of my sites. But surely I don’t have to use a separate template/licence/site for each landing page I want to make? The pages are intended to be single that won’t require navigation to – or connected to any of the others. They are to be accessed via each having a unique sub-URL under the Promotions folder.
I would really appreciate some help. Cheers…David.

John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! You can create a page to use for your landing page. Use a blank no header no footer page template and use Cornerstone to build the page. That should be the basic way you set it up. You can then also save your templates for download so you can reuse them on other sites.
Let us know how that goes. Hope this helps – thanks!

David EParticipantHi John,
Thank you for that. I’ll start building a generic layout template for all my Promotion customers that I am looking to build unique custom landing pages for to explain the promotional offer we are providing to their subscribers. As you suggest, I’ll use the no header/footer design, as I don’t want them inter-connected by a menu or anything. Just stand alone pages using hyper-linked graphics to navigate visitors on to our home page or videos.
I have one X WP install for the embedded blog on our site, and a separate X theme WP install in the “promo” folder of our server in which I want to build these individual landing pages. My plan is to use a standardized layout for each, which will showcase their particular promotional offer and codes. Theoretically, I could have 40-50 pages each with a unique sub-url of our “promo” folder. Is this right? Where/how do I assign the unique url for each page since it won’t be part of a sub-category of a menu?
Have I got the right idea, or is there a better way I should be doing this? I would appreciate any recommendations you can offer. I am now learning Cornerstone to build the layout. I’m told it is better and easier than the Visual Composer I first learnt with my first X theme.
Cheers…David

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thank you for the clarifications! WordPress has a ability that you can create a network of sites. You can use subdirectory, sub domains or separate domains for each site. Please check out the codex on how you can set it up and how it works.

David EParticipantI’ll be setting the install up as multi-site a little later. In the meantime, after making sure everything is updated to the latest versions, I am trying to make new pages and edit existing published pages – which I originally made with Visual Composer. However, whenever I try to make a new page or try to edit an existing page using either VC or Cornerstone, all I get is a rotating logo of VC or Cornerstone. The code/text detail appears in the box, but I can’t seem to get it to initiate VC or more importantly – Cornerstone at all.
What am I doing wrong, and how can I get these GUI’s to work for me? Thanks, David.

RadModeratorHi David,
Looks like your site is having a random internal server error. And could be related to memory limit. Would you mind adding this line to your site’s wp-config.php under WP_DEBUG
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');I temporarily disabled your rev. slider plugin to free up some memory, but there is another error.

David EParticipantI’ll see about getting that done tonight, thanks. We have a managed dedicated server, so I’ll ask the tech guys to do it for me.
Being a dedicated server with 8Gb of ram and 250GB SSD HDD, I’m surprised to be seeing any resources issues. But it is necessary for me to have Revolution slider enabled ultimately. Will that be possible?
Also, we have a landing page on there (only one) which is live and working. I’m guessing these guys will know how to reinstall WP without losing that. Can I save it somewhere?
Cheers….David

ChristianModeratorHey David,
If it is not a memory issue then it is most probably a WordPress or server setup related issue.
To save your site, you will need a backup plugin or you can use your web host’s backup system if they have.
Thanks.

ChristianModeratorHey David,
Regretfully, you will need to rebuild your page in Cornerstone so you can edit using it.
Thanks.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
You can temporarily revoke validation by unassigning your URL in themeco account and assign new URL. Or you can assign staging URL to your license, see : https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation
Thanks.
